Welcome to Creating Connection Corner! Here, the Marketing Department posts new ideas for events and gatherings designed to help you build lasting relationships with your people and earn referrals.
If you have an idea that you’re not seeing here, we’re happy to help—feel free to submit a Marketing Request Form and let us know the type of event you’re planning. We’ll then create an invitation that’ll get noticed and get RSVPs. If you have any questions about how to reserve space, order invites or plan your next event, contact firstname.lastname@example.org, or reach out to your Marketing Coordinator.
FYI: February’s How-To Happy Hour will feature Bags of Hope! Look for details on Workplace.
Get a Room: Don’t forget to book one of PorchLight’s spaces to host your event.
February Creating Connection Ideas
March Madness: If basketball is your jam, March is a big month. Rent out space at a sports bar, reserve Broadway’s third floor, or head to your basement media room for a March Madness Party and watch some of the best teams in the country. Better yet, get your people engaged with a bracket pool, so cash is on the line when the party rolls around.
Bags of Hope: If you want to give back to the local community, this is a great option. Along with your people, you can help those experiencing homelessness by assembling bags filled with necessities such as socks, gloves, toiletries, food and more. Ask invitees to donate specific items for the bags and be sure to have snacks on hand for your helpers!
Canvas & Cocktails: Combining art and adult beverages is a genius idea. Whether you go to a studio or host at home or one of PorchLight’s event spaces, it’s a great way to bring your people together for sips, conversation and art creation. Invite clients who have recently purchased a home, so they can paint a custom piece to hang in their new living room!
Distillery/Wine Tour: When the weather outside is chilly, plan an indoor tour of a distillery! This article features some of Colorado’s best makers of vodka, whiskey, gin and more, just schedule a tour! If the hard stuff isn’t for you, you can also go with a wine tour and tasting.
