What: Please note that in observance of Juneteenth, all PorchLight offices, Helplines, MB@ and help@ emails will be closed this Wednesday, June 19th.
Details: Listing services and open house timelines will remain the same for the week. However, so that everyone can observe the holiday on Wednesday, there will be no staff working in our offices, and live help will not be available via the Helpline. Please leave a message, and a staff member will reach out on Thursday morning.
Social Graphic: If you’d like to post on your social media feeds to commemorate the day, download the image and include a message such as: Today, we celebrate freedom while recognizing the need for continued action and advocacy. At PorchLight, we believe in inclusion and equality, representing our clients with integrity and ethically representing their best interests every step of the way.
Did You Know? Juneteenth became a federal holiday in 2021 and an official Colorado state holiday in May of 2022. The bill signing came nearly 70 years after Denver’s first Juneteenth celebration held in the historic Five Points neighborhood in 1953.
