Technology Support—PorchLight Included Services
We offer unparalleled technology support through our partner, Clarity, Inc. Most of this support is included at no additional cost to the agent, but for personal technology needs (those not directly related to PL systems), additional pay-based services are available.
Included Services
- Systems Help
PL Systems is available Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm to assist you with any issues you encounter with the CRM, Connect2, Cloud CMA, RealScout and other PL Systems. To reach out with questions or for help, email systems@porchlightgroup.com. - Tech Support
Clarity is available Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm to assist you with any PL-related tech issues you encounter with your email, printers, software, etc. To reach out with questions or for help, email support@porchlightgroup.com.
Additional Services
Services outside of included services (including, but not limited to, those listed below) will be billed at the rate of $125 per hour, billed in 1/4 hour increments directly to the agent by Clarity (payable by credit card, check or ACH).
- Advanced technical troubleshooting with your device
- Account problems outside of PL systems
- Virus/malware mitigation
- Data migrations
- Help using your technology better
Off-Boarding Technology Support
When an agent leaves PorchLight, their access to all PL systems is suspended immediately. Their Operations Leader will provide a full export of their CRM contacts (in .csv format) and will shut off all remaining search & stat notifications and marketing plans. Clarity will set an auto-responder on the agent’s PL email with the agent’s forwarding email address and will leave that auto-responder on for two weeks. If a departing agent needs additional technology support, the following packages are offered—billed directly by Clarity and payable by credit card, check or ACH:

– Providing an Outlook or Mac Mail archive file on Flash Drive
– Providing a help doc on how to use or access it

– Migrating PL email to their new email system/provider
– Importing contacts into their new system
– COST TO AGENT: $300 / migration
Computer and Software Standards
At PorchLight, we utilize technology to its fullest. In order for our Broker Associates to take full advantage of all that we offer, it is important that Broker Associates have the correct hardware and software. Below you will find the guidelines for minimum, recommended, and non-supported computer types for Mac and Windows OS. In addition to these guidelines, we do not recommend using Android tablets as laptop replacements. And Clarity cannot install drivers for printing on a Chromebook.
